What do you do here at OKWU?
I am the evening receptionist at the Tulsa campus.
What do you most like about working for OKWU?
Co-workers take their jobs seriously but are so fun to work with.
How did you end up here?
Great question! In brief, after looking for a job literally all summer long, I decided that for the last time I would look on indeed.com and cease from job hunting for a while. I happened to get an opportunity to interview and surprisingly landed a job among some awesome people.
Where did you originally call home?
I’m from the very beautiful, tiny island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the West Indies.
Where did you go to school and what did you study there?
Undergrad – Eastern Nazarene College; and now in my final semester of seminary at Oral Roberts University.
What is your family like (if you have one)?
Pretty much still single – and absolutely loving it by the way. Besides that, I have two older sisters and a dog named George, aka Pookie.
What hobbies, activities, or topics do you most like spending time on?
I adore nature, so I love to walk and take in various scenery (especially the birds).
What is one interesting fact that many people might not know about you?
I’m a licensed, ordained minister.
What is the most interesting country you have visited or would like to visit?
Hmmm, I’ve always wanted to go to Belgium, but Morocco is giving it stiff competition. Morocco is not your usual tourist destination, but I guess I just love being different.
If you could go back and meet any one famous historical figure, who would you pick and why?
I think I am more interested in biblical figures than I am of secular profiles so in this case I would definitely choose Moses. To me he was the most outstanding figure of the Old Testament as a leader.
